My expectations were exceeded for this stay. My cabin was exceptionally clean which is always important to me when I travel. The cabin had a wonderful Maine to it. Kim was out on the property making sure that all the party guests had what they needed. She has a passion for the property and her guests. I will be highly recommending The Anchorage to friends travelling in the area!

Me and my team had a pleasure to stay at this wonderful place. It was an excellent experience! The wooden touch on the inside gives you a pure cabin experience. When we moved in it was clean and welcoming. It sleeps family of 4 easily. The location is great- from cabin #7 you can see the view on that giant lake.
P.S. The owners are so nice & helpful.
Also they have a motel version, I have not been inside - but outside it looks cozy.

My family of 4 had a great time staying here. We were in Cabin #7, which sleeps 5 with 1 queen, 2 twins, and 1 pull-out sofa. We came with a ton of luggage because we also planned to go camping in Acadia. I was shocked that we and all our gear fit in the cabin without feeling cramped.
The kitchenette seemed brand new, fully stocked, and was great for making breakfasts and lunches. It saved us a ton of $ to not eat out every meal. I'm sure you could take care of all your meals there with the induction burner and pots provided, as well as the microwave and Keurig.
The owners, Kim and Jason, were gracious hosts, and we enjoyed our convos with them. They helped us navigate our vacation (first time in Maine), and gave us great recs for what to do and see. Our daughter has celiac and I was so glad that Camden had plenty of GF options close for dinners.
My husband and I loved drinking coffee on the cabin deck in the mornings looking at the bay in the distance.
It was affordable, clean, comfortable, well-run, and checked all our family vacay boxes!
